Earnest,
Went yesterday (9/10) and took a friend who's never crappie fished. Did real well under the bridge (out of the wind), and an extreamly nice gentlman added to our catch with several good fish (13 1/2"). Our total bring home was 33. It seemed like the blue bodied/white tail jigs with crappie nibbles was their preference. Caught most fish just over/under the cross members.
Great day to say the least!!!!!!

Caught 25 Saturday morning 9-6-03 with 11 keepers. Fished Lewisville trees North of golf course. Minnows & jigs.

Earnest, i have never been to CC and am thinking of going this weekend and would like to know the best place to launch. What are would you advise in launching am also taking my grand-daughter who is 4 yrs old and would like for her to catch a few crappie. She already has a 2 lbs cat to her credit when she was 3 and am trying to get her to fisk for crappie instead....lol...lol any help would be helpful
