One of our J C Outdoors anglers had his boat broken into last night about 1:45am. Scumbags broke into his locked storage compartments and took most of his tackle and about 7 rod and reel combos. Fortunately he took the 7 rods he had on the deck in his motel room.
Thanks to Minnow Bucket owners Ken and Natalie the scum bags were caught on video and there days in the free world are numbered.
Steve Taylor lost a 20 year collection of hard baits, rod and reels that had a lot of memories, his tool box for the boat but he did not let them stop him from competing today. I wish him well today, he was on fish Saturday if he can keep his focus.

I thought after I sent a couple of loads of 00buck after ones leaving my driveway they might have learned. Guess I will have to stay loaded.

I say empty your boat out of things you like or by a mean dog. Hate to hear that.

dont leave the cookies in the jar, the fat man will always get em unexpectedly.

always empty out the compartments. when someone comes up with a mesh net type carrying system that fits the tackle compartments, he will become rich. put the mesh net down first, they all your clear tackle boxes. just pick up the straps and the mesh netting already has all your boxes in it- and take inside your room. and of course your rods.

How much would it cost the marina/motel owners to hire a security guard to watch the parking lots, if even only on the weekends.

Better yet, how much will they lose by the negative publicity before they learn? I bet the first one to advertise they have a night guard makes a killing - legally.

With as many boats that have been broke into this past year, it has amazed me that we have not heard of any of the theives being shot as of yet. I remember when a lot of copper theft was happening around Garland. A hand full of people got shot and killed then amazingly, the number of copper thefts suddenly dropped. Silent alarms and a few theives six feet under might help curb some of the break-ins.

Better check with your insurance agent before removing your gear from your boat. In my case (State Farm) if my gear gets stolen from my boat I pay $100 deductible (boat coverage) and everything is replaced. If my gearets stolen from my camp I pay a $2000 deductible (house coverage) to get it replaced.

MWilkins is right on, but as bad as it got this year I dont even think a few deaths would make an impact on the meth heads.

Best bet would be to take a deer feeder full of meth, and just start hunting them.

Kinda like what JCB has been doing to the hogs lately. thumb

We are right up the road from the minnow bucket and we have gamecams and alarms set up just waiting for someone to try that [censored] on us. I hope they get caught and made an example out of.
