Well, I was lucky enough o get to travel to Lake Nacogdoches and Lake Sam Rayburn to spend 2 days with Todd Castledine. Another TFF Rockwall Ranger was also along for the trip and a chance to really learn and pick the Brain of a True East Texas stick.
Now, I say East Texas Stick, but Todd is a angler who can go to any lake around the US and find fishnot just fish but Big Fish. Maybe thats why he qualified for the Elites in 2010.
That was my main goal heading into the trip, to find out how a consistent angler such as Todd keeps his focus and prepairs mentaly before a tournament.
We actually took the trip the day Right after a Cold Front Storm and we knew it was going to set up to be tough. Blue Bird Skys, very little wind at times, and Muddy water on Normal clear Lake Nac. Water had risen on Rayburn fast and the perfect stage was set, not to whack a lot of fish, but the perfect stage for two TFFers to watch and learn from one of the sports best anglers on Tough condition fishing days.
Heres is how our trip went.

Todd shows us some AWESOME products from Strike Pro, Yep I had to take a bunch home with me..
It was truly a Great Experience to get to watch Todd and how he handled fishing pressure and how he attacks fishing and life. There's a reason guys Like Todd are always atop the sport and it's time, dedication, and flat out Fishing ability that is almost un matched.
Todd, thanks for getting us in for 2 days, as I know how busy you were between tournament's and traveling.
Thanks again, and I need a big Box of Strike Pro Products...You have plenty...
