i have an old CMC jackplate on my boat .the electric motor that raises it up and down got water in it and now its no good .recon where a fella could find one. thanks.....oh yeah its and old one its on a 88 skeeter so i think its about that old

90%of my money goes toward fishing.....the rest i blow......Out with the old skeeter in with a Legend.....

Even after getting water in it, may be able to have repaired. I would remove the motor and take it to an electric motor shop to see. Have you contacted CMC service?

cmc said way too old.but they would gladly sell me a new one.local electric shop had never seen a motor like that.so i guess i will be in the market for a new one.

try taking it to an automobile alternator/generator shop.
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!
