What is your favorite rig when fishing is tough?
What time of year do you use these techniques?

The comfy couch rig. Make sure you are using the R&R technique!

Medium diving crankbait and trolling motor on high. Sounds stupid but its worked for me.

I know most people will say something weightless....."you have to put a gun to my head for me to go weightless" I like to use something "natural" ie crawdad, worm,

Drop shot, usually when the bite is real tough or lethargic the fish are suspended, and this is a killer technique.

I do one of two things go small and finesse, but most of the time I speed up and go reaction strike remember fish are animals and have insticts they will bite when provoked.

I either fish faster with search baits, or throw carolina rigs on some structure.

fishing faster with search baits like cranks and traps is usually good for little fish, so not a great idea for tournament fisherman though (I don't tourny fish).

I usually go with a c-rig or weightless senko. The dropshot has been ever increasing in my arsenal as well lately.
