I crushed my Falcon Cara T7 in the trolling motor on Lavon today... Does anyone know how much Falcon charges you for a replacement rod? Thanks for any help.

1/2 of retail. Be honest about it and they will work with you.

Thanks for the advice... Yeah it's 100% my fault, there is no need to make them pay for my screw up.

I lost two this year to a battery in the back of the truck mixed in with the rods, dohhhhh! Emailed Falcon and told them what happened and they said $90 each to replace the Cara's. Love my Falcon rods!

Take it to Academy and they will replace it free - no questions asked.

I broke a rod on a fish yesterday on Grapevine. It sucked because it was a big fish and I already had 2 overs in the boat. I guess that I need to set the hook softer

Must be the weekend to break rods. I broke 2 on sat. The falcon broke as I was casting and the loomis broke as I shoved it into a laydown to get my wackey worm back. Not a good feeling on the loomis

Take it to Academy and they will replace it free - no questions asked. If he broke it as he stated how is that an academy or Falcon issue? I think its great they offer a replacement at a discount but to take it to Academy does not seem right.

I spoke with a Falcon Warranty Representative today and am getting the rod fixed. All I will say is, if you are in the market for a new rod I would strongly recommend Falcon. They showed me great customer service and went WAY beyond what they had to in order to help me out! You just don't see customer service like that anymore, and I think its worth a few extra bucks to know a company has got your back. Also Thanks for all the post guys!

I run Castaway so idk about falcon, but my friends use them and break a ton with braid. Now these are big boys anfd set hooks hard , but they should not break. They have had problems getin them replaced. I mean falcon says no. I didn't understand it. Now castaway will take the extra minut to help their costomers.

Take it to Academy and they will replace it free - no questions asked. So you think it is ok to steal from Academy?

I am going to take mine to Academy after work and explain what happened. I am hoping that they do an exchange, but I am not going to dog them if they don't. I like the rod and I have for the 5 months that I have used it. I have caught a few 5+ and two 6's on it so I think it is a good rod and light. It is one of theirs H2O and I will buy another if they don't replace it. I bought it for 30.00 which is 10.00 off of what they are normally. This is definately not going to sour the rod for me

I don't doubt you run a great company, but lets not use this post to bash Falcon...
