My old fishing buddy moved on to yankeeland and I am now beating the banks alone. looking for someone who is serious about fishing. I mostly fish the state parks have the yearly pass and live 5 minutes from Cedar Hill SP.

what do you fish for? I hit joe pool for catfish and carp quite alot but at lynne creek marina

Are you looking for a bank partner or to go out in a boat? I could go either way but prefer the boat you see. I am new to the area and I live on the north east shore area. I am trying to go out on Saturday morning this week but may have to do it on Sunday.

Either I do not have a boat I wish I did. I usually hit some ponds in the Dallas, Cedar hill, even Red Oak area and I fish Cedar Hill SP it is 5 mins from the house and doesn't cost me to get into it also have caught lots of carp, bass, sandies,and catfish on the jetties out there.

That boat seems a little small for me lol I am a big guy 6'7" a tad over 300 lbs lol but bank fishing is great.

I will have to check with the wife she is the boss. But I love to fish and am always willing to go just not always able lol and the state park jetty's are an excellent spot for carp I got 4 around 10 lbs crappie fishing out there last year.

BB how do you get into the SP without the $5 charge?

Well you or anyone else is welcome on my little boat anytime I go out. I tried to get it registered on Friday but I discovered you have to do it at parks and wildlife and not the tag office like in Florida. So I will be bank fishing Joe Pool on Sunday I guess just to say I did go fishing. I will walk the edge along the road by the bridge at Lynn Creek Marina like someone else pointed out on here..

I was going Sunday but my lil one is sick and I can't go anywhere when she feels bad nothing like a 2 year old calling you to keep ya home.
