We got on the water about 8:30 the fishing was slow but we managed a few only a few easterly winds probably meant rising barometer. My friend had to leave at one we only had 5 keepers, he said looks like they would turn on, They did I only ended up with 14 kepers and 1 frog catcher.

Craigo with a crooked tail.

4 for my supper.

Hey that ain't no Frog you Dummy.

This is a 5 1/2 lb Frog Catcher too many of these things around the area I fish.

Would you look at the teef on that green largemouth crappie. I think the genetics on those fish was altered in some secret labratory in the Florida Swamps back in the 60's before people knew better.

He sure is and I am fortunate to have met this man. The fishing was slow but the experience was great I only wished we had caught more fish but with that said this lake is by far one the hardest to fish around here, that is one reason I fish it another it is very close. Craigo hats off to you man.

+1 thumb

Pat, your right on the money with that statement. Benbrook can be awesome on a day to day basis, but it will also humble you very quick.

Crappie may be slowing down to the fact that you have been thinning them out quite good here lately! rolfmao

Way to go Pat. I was gonna see you out there, but after hearing of it being kinda slow, the way the wind looked when I got off work at 3, and the fact that I'm still fishing out of the jon boat while the CC is getting fixed, I decided to go with a friend to look at a boat he is thinking of buying instead. I did hate not being out there though.
