 Celll phone service while on the brazos?

Yes---
I know that its a time when you should get away from the dang phones--
But I was wondering if there are places on the river that you can still make or receive calls if an emergency comes up?
I feel sure in the canyons it would be unlikely--but maybe where it flattens out some?
Just wondering-----

As long as your not in a canyon you can get reception. I have AT&T and i can get calls around the kimbal bridge ramp up to chisolm trial ramp.

I have a place on P.K. and the service is real bad for me using Verzion. If I'm down in the river forget it! Sometimes on the lake I get service, but I have to stand on one leg and point with my right hand due North!

Yes--I will be below PK Dam--Thoght it may help to say where I will be.
I will try the "stand on one leg" thing and see if that works---LOL.

go over to the TFF Kayak section and ask again, as it is alsoa strong brazos forum
last weekend I was there w Dave99 and he was getting coverage at 2 miles down. don't know what service - but he'll see a PM from you.
Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

When I was there a last my Sprint service was very limited.
