The Walmart off of 121 and Ohio in Plano/Frisco has Berkley Lightning Rods $17, Abu Garcia Cardinal Rods $17, Ugly Stick Lites for $19. All shapes and sizes. That is all.

Dont know if its all stores,but Academy in Lubbock,has the BnM Sam Heaton 12 ' cork handles,reg 50.00 for 19 and change.

I think a pink Barbie pole with a Goofy Reel will do just fine. If you can land record catfish with them they can handle a 3# crappie. This whole sensitivity thing is way over rated.

I use a Lightning McQueen Rod a lot of the time for perch. I don't have any problems with them aside them taking forever to reel in from 30 foot of water. They need bigger spools. grin
