Then it needs another 10in. still over 3 feet low.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Lake is still coming up though. Chambers creek is still running and was at flood stage as recently as yesterday afternoon. Catching a few feet of water this time of year is a bonus. Usually it takes the winter rains to accomplish that.

Up the Chambers Arm (starting about the 2859 bridge) I would think that water looks muddy.

Up the Richland Arm (starting a little past Midway landing) I would think that looks muddy.

But in the main part of the lake (287 bridge on the Chambers side) and from the Dogleg or Black Forrest on the Richland side, it should be perfect.

I've seen on Texhoma a solid straight (red) mud line taking over the lake after heavy rains - moving slowly and engulfing the whole lake all the way to the Dam. It's much like the color change (and/or trash line) going out in the ocean (and much like the color (trash line) change in the ocean - fish that, it's GOOD that color/trash line holds fish. The Mud line on Texhoma (on the clear side pushes fish and holds them much like the ocean).

At RC - I've never seen that - just gradually muddy and never taking over the main lake.

It should be great in the main part of RC right now and will be.

water was clear as far back as Midway. the north wind had i rufff. had to fish protected areas and moving was tuff. there was a stepping stone on the bank right next to the water when we returned the stone was about a 1/8 covered. takes a lot of water to fill that big old lake.
