 tilt problem??

i have a cmc power tilt and took the boat out yesterday and it was working fine. About an hour on the lake tried to tilt the motor up and was not working. It makes a click sound but does not move at all. Any suggestions on what might be wrong???

relay under calling probly going bad ..11 bucks buy both ..well mine had two .

sounds more like a bad connection clean up the terminals and try again

The relays for the CMC tilt won't be on the outboard engine, they should be in the wireing harness going to the tilt motor. bg
If I'm not fishing or hunting I'm hunting a place to fish or hunt.

I was working on it and I hit the reset button on the circuit breaker and the tilt wokred for about 2 seconds and now its back to just clicking again

Yamaha Pro service center... check your PM.
