MrJu, fished there Sat. didn't get there until 8:45am, and fished till 5:00 caught 9 and had 5 keepers and one nice perch. All in all it was pretty slow. fished with minnows, tried a roadrunner red/white but no luck there.

Out in the standing timber right now, you'll have to bounce tree to tree to catch them. I'd try to use jigs as well as minnows. Good luck.

I was on big creek for a while yesterday. Fish are biting great if you guys are fishing out in the trees in the middle you might try shallower water. The fish I caught were in 4-6 feet. I havent tried it but usually there are pleanty of fish out on the open water holes.

Big Creek is between commerce and cooper heading towards paris. take 30 east from dallas, past greenville to the paris exit 19 I believe go thru commerce heading towards cooper, it's just out side of cooper. If you look to the left you can get a peek of the lake. There's a sign that says Big Creek you'll turn left. Can't miss it after that. We should have done better last time we we're there. but spent a lots of time playing with the new fishfinder er fishliar. Good luck and keep a tight line.

It is actually highway 24 out of Greenville going toward Commerce. Stay on 24 through Cooper and just as you pass cooper and go back to a 2 lane road the turn will be on the left.
