At AABass's and SNMCC's advice I tried a new fishing spot, and because of what I read on the forums here, I bought some Danny King's blood punch bait. Man alive...I have never been so busy as I was after I put my line in the water Friday night. From 9pm to about 2:30am I was non-stop catching fish. I ended up catching 23 fish total. Of course, not all were keepers, but I would say 15-16 of them were over 2 lbs. The biggest I caught was probably close to 10 lbs. That bait was awesome. You guys understated it's effectiveness terribly. I was even afraid to walk off the dock and go piss for fear of my pole getting pulled in the lake.
Thanks guys, your advice was right on the money.

I went to Ft Phantom across the cove from the ramp. That little pier was great..had slabs of pebble textured concrete instead of boards for flooring. Even had dimples in the railing so you can lean your rods without fear of them falling over.
