I have never been a bass fisherman. I am starting to get into it. (Actually it is all I have done for probably the last 20 trips out) I am not very successful. I have caught a few. Nothing to brag about. I have fished Lake Arlington my whole life practically, but for Crappie and Cats. Joe Pool is new to me.

I'm looking for someone to let me ride along and watch the techniques and learn the lures and the colors and the best spots and the habits of these fish. There is so much information on the internet but I am not sure what applies to this lake. Just want to watch and learn. Anybody interested in teaching me a few things?

It is worth the drive to learn on another lake besides Joe Pool. Ever since they put all the carp in there the bass fishing has gone way down. Plus the lake is small for the amount of recreational boaters. Just my two cents.

i have fished joe pool quite abit. i dont go out there very much anymore because i moved but i was out there at the begining of june and caught a nice 5+ lbs on brush pile. the places to hit are tank damns and brush piles in deeper water. i have always ben a morning person. i dont no where in the afternoons. but it does get pretty crowded in the afternoons during the summer, so watch out. Godd Luck and hope i helped.

Welcome to the TFF Family of Anglers! welcome

Sounds like what you are wanting is a guide. Look in the Guides/Destinations section.
