It took some more time and work today but I found some more bp to fish. Fished for a bet and cought 8. I have to give Sketter 175 some credit for giving me some pointers. And encouragement. Thanks

You have to forgive me.. I don't come to the forum much and I don't know what a bp is.. Can you explain?
I fish Grapevine all of the time and I might be interested.

so once you find a brushpile in open water how do you stay on top of it?
seems like when I find something, by the time i get the anchor to actually dig in and hold I'm too far off the marker and have to start over again. any suggestions?

Forget the anchor, they just tear up those small BP's....Use a TM and a decent sonar...

Ernest told me a long time ago Anchors are for ships. True, but if you have a big center-console boat like my buddy has, you can't stay on top of a pile with a trolling motor. Just a thought...lol
