I'll be headed to Aransas Pass for a week of fishing, but want to spend one or two nights in San Antonio. Could someone recommend a place/area to stay that is safe for my boat? I don't want to spend all night watching for trouble. Anyone that's been there, done that, and got a tee shirt.

Not downtown. If you plan to stay downtown then I'd look for a boat shop or dealer that's willing to let you park on their lot for a day or two.

I don't know of a decent hotel with boat parking but I got warehouse space if needed.
