Haha. grin

wink i always carry a vinal tape measure...

here is a tip on the scales, if you get on always carry a plastic target or grocery store bag with you and weigh the bass in that, this way you dont have to stick the scales gaff hook into the fish...much safer if you intend to cpr....

hard to tell when the pic of fish is in out streached arms a pocket tape measure will give pretty good estimate with length and girth . what ever is weighs it's a big one good going.

Ya I busted his B@lls enough today about not bringing his scale. He usually does. Thanks for the responses, I was just trying to get some opinions to see if people agreed with his guess of 11. Wasn't trying to be defensive, just thought it was over 8 IMO.

No matter what ... its still a very nice Bass. I ... myself always seem to guess under on fish just to be on the safe side. So many people want to over do it...So i always take a different angle at guessing weight.

That fish is the BIGGEST FISH I HAVE EVER SEEN. I BET THAT WILL GO 26 POUNDS............

Is that what you are "Fishing" for people to say? Come on man. That fish weighs between 4 pounds and 12 pounds. Who freakin' Cares. You erased the background so nobody else would FISH your obvious "PUBLIC" pond. You ask what people think, then say they are wrong. Spend 10 bucks on a scale.
