Fairfield still low? Do you think a guy could launch a 17 ft aluminum boat in there right now and be alright? What about the crowds, is is going to be too crowded there over spring break to make it worth a trip?

I am in a small bass club that was down there Feb. 28th and if you stay in the middle of the ramp launching is OK. The problem is if the wind is up loading was a real problem for the two guys in aluminum boats. They could not hold their boats on line and kept getting blown into the prop wash burm that is right out side of the ramp. One guy tore his prop up completely getting back in. Also, if your trailer sits high you have to back off the end of the concrete to get your boat in the water.

Water is back up to the end of the ramp so you should not have any problem launching. Just be sure and bring a good push pole and you be okay.
