I am gluing some cracked cork on one of my bass worm rods. Does anyone recommend a wrap or tape that would help protect the cork?

rod wraps, i put it on my worm and jig rods. i really like it in the winter when my hands are numb.

the ones from BPS? Are those the ones you are talking about?

i think the rod wraps band is better. i have used the ones at bps but it got fuzzy quicker.

The original rod wraps work for me. They feel great and don't add much weight to the set-up.

I go to walmart and get the ultra sports wrapes..they are cheap,like 4$ and you can wrap three rods, and come in different colors. The baseball bat grips are fine except much thicker, so if you have big hands you might like them..

Speaking from experience, stay away from the BPS brand. I have used the Rod wraps brand before without a problem. The BPS brand wore out quickly and left a nasty sticky residue all over your hands and the rod.

i like a ton of athletic tape on mine.

I thought the BPS one's were slick when they got wet. I took mine off in a rainstorm and never put it back on.

evv59 the reel grips ones look interesting. I have the reel hand grips and love them.
