Robert Olsen and Kurt Glass took first place today in the PVA tournament to on Ray Hubbard,

They had 11.90+ pounds on a solid limit and WON BIG BASS with a 5.45 LB bass.

They also just missed winning yesterday taking 3rd place on Saturday.

Way to go Robert and Kurt.

Sorry I didn't make it out there in time for the weigh in. I was still working on the bathroom. When I did finally make it out there (4:00 or so) I ran into Kevin (KP) and his son at the check out line. Talk about coon eyes....lol Im hoping to make Tuesday night..

I don't have the results for today BUT I can tell you that

ROBERT OLESON, and his partner won 1st today with 11.93 something like that and they WON BIG BASS with a 5.45.

Robert was on FIRE THIS WEEKEND
Saturday an 3rd place finish.

robert and his partner were leading it up to the last couple guys to weighin on saturday too! I was excited for them Good things happen to good folks! Robert's good folk!

The glory for the victory goes to God. I am humbled that I was able to serve my PVA angler Kurt Brown. We shared two tough days on the lake with wind and rain and blistering heat and some very finicky Ray Hubbard Bass. Kurt figured a few things out and was able to grind out three fish for third place on the PVA angler day. I cannot begin to explain the pure joy he showed when he had his first nice keeper. These guys are hard core and take their fishing very serious. For awhile we thought that Kurt had won the PVA angler day and won a new Triton boat. It was not to be when one of the last anglers of the day came in with big bass of the day and two more keepers.

Today we expanded on the knowledge from yesterday and found five keepers with one of them being a nice kicker. It was a matter of slowing down and grinding out fish. We were melting in the sun but just kept after it. We overcame adversity and stayed focused.

To tell you what an awesome God we serve, this morning I was out of my routine and forgot to put the plug in. Just before we launched one of the guys found it and put it in for us. Later as my trolling motor batteries were fading we dropped anchor on a hole. That area produced two keepers with one of them being the eventual big bass and our kicker.

It was a good weekend and the victories were a financial blessing but the real value was in the experience and the time shared on a boat.

Congratulations Robert! It was nice to put a face to a name and meet some of you other TFFers in person.

Guys I'm beat - I can't remember being this worn out after a two day tournament! I wasn't able to put my angler on any keeper fish either day, but in the end we parted having cemented a friendship.

Casey you did a good job on the emceeing part as well!

And to all the other guys that did well or didn't it was a great tourney and a great cause. Wish I coud have fised this, but I still got to meet a lot of great people.
