 Need Engine Repair on My Johnson 90 HP, 1985

I just found out I have a bad head gasket and other possible repairs needed to my 90 HP, Johnson, 1985 model. I'm hoping to find a good mechanic for a reasionable price. I live in Burleson (south of Fort Worth). Does anyone know of a good mechanic I can contact to fix my engine?

Bruce, I go to The Boat Shop in Alvarado. The number is 817-790-5899. They work on both of my boats and Don is very honest and reasonable.

The only thing I will say is call and ask if they will work on it before you take it over there, We have been taking our boat to the same Anchor Marine in san antonio for about eight years or so, then we took it in to have the water pump changed and when we got there they said they wouldnt work on an '85 model motor, because it was too old.
