you can do what a lot of others do, go to veach or the canyons and throw a ribbit early, then go deeper with a texas rig or carolina rig.


but what i would do is run up to bridge flats(south east side of 147 bridge) take heavy tackle and some 1oz oldham jigs with a zipper craw as a trailer and flip grass in 8-20 feet of water. good luck

Would love to have 20 ft grass in Rayburn again. more like 6-7 around the 147, and not much of that but plenty pads..

I was on Rayburn last week...found that stringy dark green moss in 12-15 ft.....go figure.
