Was fishing local pond today and throwin a popper. I caught around 5 bullfrogs on it, and these things were huge! im talkin about 8-10 inch legs.not much for a nice fight tho.has this happened to anyone before?if i hadnt have hit up Mcdonalds before my trip, i would be having some froglegs tonight. 
I only fish on days that end in "Y"

Next time you catch one,let it thrash around for a few minutes and see what comes to check him out.Could be a snake or a big bass.

Happens a lot to me. I was reeling one in off a weed line and something hit it. It made the biggest boil I have ever seen. It scared me so much I thought I was going to throw the rod in the water. Needless to say I didn't get the fish or frog to the boat. That made me a firm believer in throwing frog baits right then.
