Athens was on fire last weekend (as usual)we didn't catch any overs but lots of good quality slots. You can pretty much be anywhere on the lake at first light and throw just about any bait and kill 'em for at least 30 minutes. It's the most amazing first light lake I have ever fished. Me and my partner came close to catching a bass on every other cast last week during the half hour before and after sun up, things slowed after that, but not by much. Love that lake!

I was really suprised with all the jet skis just how good the fishing actually was, we also caught several good slot fish, the overs still illude me, but I will not give up

Is there a limit to how many fisherman can enter?

You got that right Fishin Freak, the ski boats would buzz by us almost within casting distance, nearly swampin' my buddies 17ft express...and it seemed like it actually helped the bite! The fish certainly were not bothered by the lake lice as much as we were.

Lumpy, to my knowledge there is no limit...the more there merrier....I'd kinda like to see a big pot for this one for some reason...
