 Hummingbird update ?

I saw on a different post where there are some issues with a SI update. My question is, has anyone had any issues with the 787c2 update? I dont want to load it if there are any problems.
BTW the update is M787C2.4_180. I have the M787C2.3_950 version.

I have not updated mine. Do you know any big changes? I like mine just the way it is! I always worry about updates! I have had problems with my computers everytime I do a update! I just don't do um much anymore!

I purchased my 797C2 in December and just downloaded the update about 3 weeks ago. I had no problems and it was simple to complete, only took 5 mins max. On a side note HB tech support was very helpful after I purchased my unit. I could not get the temp feature to work and HB determined my transducer was defective via the phone. Less than a week later I had a new transducer in the mail.

I have the same problem with my temp. did the new transducer fix it? they sent me a new one, just havent put it on yet.

The only issue I have heard is that the new update for the 997 does not currently with with the aftrermarker Yellowfin software. It has to do with playing back recordings.
