just make sure she has what she needs and is comfortable, then drive the trolling motor and let her do the rest.

Cold shot KP. True, but cold. Should be there with Stan. Looking to build on last week. Hopefully it's not just the luck of being on Johns back deck that worked it's magic. Hope the wind will lay down a little. See you there!

weather.com is calling for winds 19-22 out of the south. Should be fishable? Just stay off the main lake as much as possible. Then again, they called for winds at 10-15 on Friday, and when I came across the 30 bridge at BPS, there were 4 foot rollers out there. I guess we'll see tonight.

ya, so much for my tactic that i was itching to try, cause i wanted the main lake. well last week during the tourney they said that there was going to be a worse storm rolling in and it looked like it was but died off and turned out to be a nice night

plan on tonight being windy, windy, windy! setup your game plan accordingly. wind can be your friend on Hubbard, but too much can become a safety factor. theres a lot of area to fish near where the launch is at... theres 2 arms on that side of the lake with lots of areas for bass to hang out in. just watchout for trees. i have also done well before... and its a hit/miss kind of deal- bouncing cranks off trees out in the middle.. but you have to hone in on underwater irregularities to find the productive groups of trees. the wind will cause current underwater, and you have to adjust to where you think the bass will be sitting (ambush point). they will take the opportunity if it arises for a free meal example : the back sides of the bridge columns. again- thats a hit/miss kind of deal.
