Missing men sought at lake
Boat found near Oak Point with its engine running, in neutral

Bulletin Staff Report
LAKE BROWNWOOD -- Officials with the Texas Parks and Wildlife and the Brown County Water Improvement Districts Lake Patrol were searching for two missing boaters from West Texas late Sunday afternoon in Lake Brownwood.
Few details were available. Sheriff Bobby Grubbs said the boaters were a man and his nephew from Farwell, near the New Mexico state line in the Texas Panhandle.
The mens boat was found near Oak Point with its engine running and in neutral, Grubbs said. Their personal effects were in the boat, he said.
Divers were preparing to enter the water late Sunday afternoon. Grubbs said he did not have any other details.
Parks and Wildlife and Lake Patrol officials were unavailable for comment.

They found the nephew this afternoon, still searching for his uncle. Terrible tragedy!!

This IS horrible news and agree with Jon, it's a tragedy. Glad they at least found one (hopefully alive...couldn't tell from SW's post).

Have they call Texas EquiSearch in with the Humminbird 997s I have worked on these type deals with them in Oklahoma they are good should find this guy asap

Which brings up the article I wrote about a month ago
"I fell in" Was wearing a life jacket.
The lesson was about life jackets, it is too late for them,
but not for you...........
