Does anyone know if the cat's are still spawning in shallow water in the rocks?
Particularly on Roberts.

It dont look like it at Tradinghouse , I'm pretty sure it's over .I look for em in the 6-8 ft range .

The few blues I caught last weekend were still full of eggs (Lewisville).
Boats are like Strippers. They work until you quit throwing $100 bills at them.

spawn will continue purty much thru june ... some flatheads will still be going a week or so into july
regards albertking catfishing is now an industry ... it's best for the industry to eat baby catfish

Caught some at texoma on the rocks friday. 14 fish to 6 lbs 2 had eggs and I think the rest were males. The males were all skinned up and blue lipped like they had been in the rocks

The Cats I caught on Twak. tonite had eggs, but not close to developed. Some nice blues and channels.

if you're catching bluecat that are under say 10 to 15 lbs that have eggs in them then I doubt those are mature fish and even capable of finding a mate. channelcat maturity is much smaller than blues ... a 3 lb channelcat for instance may be mature when a 3 lb bluecat may just be two years old.

Blues are said to be sexually mature when they are approx. 24 inches in length.
