I was wondering if anyone has ever fished North Lake in Noth Irving. If so, can you fish at North Lake Park? If not, any advice on where we can drop a line in?

Some relatives who were able to fish the lake back in the day said the water gets VERY hot in the summer probably hotter than most species of fish can stand.I think there is a power plant on the west side of the lake.

i have parked by the warehouse .offices across the strret and just walked over there to the rocks . guess ive been lucky not to get caught

I believe you can fish near the bridge on beltline, pretty good place for cats but I haven't fished there in years.

If you have to cross the fence, they get you. You can fish creeks going to the lake.

There was another thread on here a few months back. I think the consensus was that the power plant is not operating anymore and that a developer had bought the land to put condos on.
