Ya get it. With the nylon nets it seems like a treble hook always gets stuck in it. I've never had that problem with a rubber one.

There was someone on here that posted his nets. They were really nice looking nets that were also made to collapse and open with one hand and had a brace on it for use by yourself.

Rubber net keeps hooks from getting tangled but they also have more resistance in the water making them a little slow for my liking. Mike, I have the Great Net from BPS with the folding head and collapsing handle, but I only see this in rubber netting now in the catalog. I've had it for 5 years now and no problems.

I have a hibertnet and love it! you can leave it on the deck and it takes less room than a rod.

I would avoid the rubber net if you are planning on fishing Amistad or Falcon....I have seen too many big fish flopping out of that net! I use the collapsible one from frabill...the FLW net and have had great luck with it. JR

I have the Stowmaster Tourney Series bass net. It uses a rubber dipped nylon mesh net. So, you get the advantages of rubber with the mesh's less water resistance.
They are a bit pricey.

I use a Cabelas rubber net and love it.I fish Amistad alone a lot and net my own fish.I only net fish over 7 lbs and have never had any issue with fish flopping out.

Do they have a website?

Mike you have to catch fish first so why would you need a net? Just kidding I have the rubber with an extending handle and it works great.
