I am taking my wife fishing on the Big E. and I am looking at staying in Freeport a couple of days. How is the Country Hearth Inn. I know some of you guys have stayed there before the 52hr trips. Any other suggestions would help. Thanks Steve
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

The Country Inn is crappy and smells, I mean it is across the street from Cpt. Elliots but that's not much of a selling point for me.
If you want something nicer stay at Holiday Inn Express which is like 5-10 min away in Clute, you also have Mainstay but it's $$$.

Nice post! We just checked into the Country Hearth INN...WHAT A DUMP. I just wrote this on their free Wifi..OUch. As we speak, I am looking at a mystery stain on my comforter while my AC blows like a humidifier while laying on my bed that has a profile similar to a banana! Can't wait for 4 AM, when the boat leaves.
