 Arkansas River Map?

I am in dire need of a Arkansas River map of pools 6-8. I have looked at all the normal map companies and cant find one. I have also googled it and can find anything. Does anyone know of a company who makes a good river map? Any help is greatly appretiated. John

Well when I was in graduate school...I actually worked on a Map for the Arkansas River...not a full out contour map though. Your best bet would be to contact the army corp of engineers in Little rock as they have a river map book for barge operators...but if I was you, I would utilize Google Earth and make your own maps, and then check out areas that look good from the "eye in the sky"...Contour maps for any river are hard to come by, because they are in such a state of flux. See massive flooding of the MS river for an example.

Good Luck, Had the same problem in 95 when I fished a championship. Not much out there. Topo's are hard due to the the sand bars change all the time.
