To everyone out there, I have sold Texas Sidewinder Rods. I chose the greatest couple I could have ever thought I would find. They are Both ready to take the business to the next level and I do hope that all of my previous customers will give these new owners a try. Their names are Randy and Dorothy McDaniel and they live in the DFW area which will be a plus for them and all of the customers I have in that area. Be sure and get in touch with them and I promise they will take care of you. I have also told them that any help or advice that they may need, I am more than willing to help them and keep the tradition of the Texas Sidewinder Rods as it has been and always will be. Their numbers are: 214-701-9424(Randy) and 214-601-1738(Dorothy) Please give the new owners a call and I promise they will take care of your custom rod needs.

Kit Harrison former owner of Texas Sidewinder Rods

Dave I am moving on to spending time with both of my sons, and spending that time on the lake. I love fishing and I can tell you now, that selling the business was not that easy. But I did find the rightful new owners. I need to spend more time with my two sons and plan on doing so. No other business adventure for me, just time with the boys and I look so forward to it.

I want to say thank you for the special rod you built for me. I hope next time I make it to Sam Rayburn we can meet up and do some fishing. Thanks for a great product. Stay tuned into the forum for us, OK?

Thank you, Kit, for the kind words. My wife and I are very excited to continue the tradition that you and Joe have created. It's very important to us to continue with the service and quality that Texas Sidewinder Rods stands for.

I do invite everyone to make sure you give the new owners a try. They are the greatest people and very friendly and will no doubt carry on the tradition of the rods. I have enjoyed myself for the last few weeks and so have my sons. We have pretty much been non stop since I now have the free time. The lake is just like it was and we are loving every minute of it. Both the crappie and the bass are biting and there is nothing like having fun on the lake. Again, pleas give Randy and Dorothy a try.

Kit as a rod builder and minor competition I fully understand the need for more time with the family, never meet you but have heard nothing but good things about you and your rods, hope all the best for you and the new owners of Texas Sidewinder Rods
