Has anyone fished the lake (Lake Raven) in Huntsville State Park recently? I know there is normally good Bass fishing there, but i was wondering how the fishing is right now due to the hot weather.
I only fish on days that end in "Y"

Fished there on Saturday. The fishing was okay for me at best. I have no one to blame but myself for going zero for seven on the fish I hooked. I even had a very nice fish (5+) lipped next to the boat that I let get away. I am glad I was not fishing a tourney with money on the line! LOL! Lake Raven has some very nice fish in it but there is a lot of pressure on those guys. I can imagine that there are times such as this Memorial weekend that the bass feel like they are being bombarded by all of the lures!!!
