Going to choke tomorrow and need directions once i get south of SA just wondering if any of you could give me the quickest route to state park

Stay on 37 until you get to the Three Rivers exit, sorry I don't know the exit number but it's about 70 miles. Go into 3-rivers until you get into town and you'll see a sign for the state park. I think it's your 4th stopi light. Take a right and follow it down a few miles. South Shore is your first ramp and Calham is about 7 miles farther. Caliham puts yo roughly in the middle of the lake, where South Shore starts you at the Damn -- they're both good facilities.

Don't break any traffic laws in 3-rivers.

Make sure all your lights work, drive 5 mph below the speed limit, and don't do a right on red. Take everything you need with you, there is a real shortage of stores in Three Rivers.

I think of all the money of spent in the little town over the last decade or so. You would think they would appreciate us instead of squezing more money out of us with thier traps.

I find it hard to belive that all the motels, the refinery, and the lake and no where to eat except the Subway. Bass Inn is terrible, the motel and the restraurant. There was a good Mexican food place in Tilden.

bassctcher, thats why it's so frustrating when you get pulled over and get a ticket even when you're being EXTRA careful to follow the rules. I won't bore you with the details but I got an absolutly rediculous ticket. I wrote the mayor explaining the situation and guess what, never heard a thing back.

I know it sounds like whining, but it's not just them, it's all the way down 90 to Amistad too.

I hate when the government goes out to trap law abiding citizens to get more money to feed the beast.

we camped at the newly fixed calliham park this march our door did not work at the cabin, the staff was rude and none of the bathrooms worked ( all stopped up in the AM) everyone is right do not speed!! fishing is great though

Max's My friend has a ranch right outside of Tilden and we eat there all the time. Gotta get the Max's nachos. They have good mexican food and many other items. Durn good burger. Killer salsa and ranch(homemade). Wheeler's also make a great grilled chicken sandwich on jalape�o bread.

Let us know how you do down there. That is where I normally go with my friend who has a boat, but we haven't been in a couple months. Theres a nice DQ in town also Nolan Ryans restaraunt is near the lake and its pretty good too.

The fishing is good right now and there is alot of 10 plus pound fish being caught right now.

Thats right, dont speed. I got a ticket there this past Sat morning at 530 am. Dont know if any of you guys were one of the 50 boats that passed me, but I was the guy pulled over right next to the square in town. What made me the most mad was that I was really early and didnt need to be in any hurry!

well guys I made it in and out without a ticket , actually didnt see a cop did manage to catch some fish in the morn was really windy !
