The fish I cleaned this weekend had no eggs. Water was 75 degrees. I think it was an early spawn on Waxahachie but am betting it will continue on most lakes for several more weeks. They will still be shallow for a long time however.

cats are shallow now & are starting to spawn ... they will spawn thru june ... channels & blues will purty much be done by the end of june ... some yellas will still be goin' to just after the 4th
regards albertking catfishing is now an industry ... it's best for the industry to eat baby catfish

The fish we caught haden't spawned yet still full of eggs .
