Hello gentlemen (and ladies if there are any),
I've been reading the forums for a while now and wanted to give a formal hello to everyone. I've been loving reading the tips and water reports and the stories from you guys... there's some hilarious stuff here.
I mostly fish Choke Canyon for now and have only just begun fishing consistently in the last 2 months. I have fallen in love with bass fishing and try to get out each weekend. My buddy and I fish out of a 14' Aluminum flat bottom with a 15 hp on it. It is great to see guys pull up in 25-30k dollar boats and not catch a thing as we pull in multitudes of 2-4lb bass every other cast.
I'm a SSgt stationed at Lackland AFB and work with a few fishing addicts as well.
Anyway, wanted to say thanks for the great knowledge, the incredibly funny stories, and the warm atmosphere you guys have here.

Welcome.
I hope you are not already spoiled to think you will catch "multitudes" every time you go.I promise, you will not! There will be many days to come where the large mouth will have you scratching your head, but that is what drives most of to chase them.
You aint catching if your hook aint wet!!
