Man, were they hot on Cooper Lake yesterday. Sure was nice not to have waverunners, floating townhomes, V8 speeders and lots of friendly folks coming over to help us pull them in. I only saw 6 boats and this was Saturday! Yeah, I wouldn't bother going over there, its just an old mudhole. Best fishing I've had in 3 years. I did see a "Basketball" LMB jump not far from us. I will be back to catch Dotties sister, now I know where she lives. (Basketball Bass = Lots bigger than a "Football Bass"). (Dottie = The name of the world record 25# LMB caught but not certified).
Oh and they were still full of eggs up shallow, just like I have been catching them at the vine. Crappie have eggs too but under developed. This weather has them all mixed up.

How many of the fish were hybrids?

I knew you would ask so I double checked. None. I cleaned them all and did a tounge check on each one.

I did the tounge check (One patch) and those with darker stripes were males I discovered during the autopsy.
Sometimes I am a bit sensitive.

first they were all sandbass now there might be 5 hybrids. But you checked all the tongue patches lol Then you pull the pic and that makes ya look guilty as all get out .
