OK, where is "marker 21". I'm going to Port Aransas. Is that south of marker 21?
Spotted Seatrout: Special Regulation: For the Lower Laguna Madre, the daily bag limit and the possession limit shall be 5 fish in all inside waters south of marker 21.

No. Marker 21 is a long way south of there.
Where in Port A will you fish?? Just looking for another's opinion or approach to fishing that area.

I'm going to try a few places, but first we will camp on the causeway between Port Aransas and Aransas Pass and fish in the flats off the bank and from my kayak. I had some good luck there last year fishing the shallow flats/bays.
If that is slow I will try the Port A Jetties and/or surf fishing. Maybe Bob Hall Pier too. I will have only two days, so unless the fishing is really bad I will probably stick to the kayak in the flats. I've only been down there twice, so not familiar with all the spots, but those are ones I know of.
I did great last year in the flats with the Specs. Great for me anyway.
