The fishing is tuff for big fish right now but I am catching some numbers of smaller fish up shallow with a few big ones mixed in. I caught one over 10 two days ago in 5 foot of water off of a hard wood but this kind of fish is far and between right now for some reason. The perch are up in the shallows spawning right now and the bass are up there feeding on them. The bait of choose for me has been a sinko texas rigged with a lite weight. You can go to the mouth of the creeks and try your luck there because that is where I have been having my best luck. I keep going out deep hoping for the fish to show up out there but I am catching the same size of fish out deep but alot less of them. Thank You Your Choke Canyon Guide Justin Bauer Call me if you want to book at trip 830-570-1837

Choke is getting a lot harder now days, I guess the fishing pressure has finally caught up! I fish for them deep and then shallow, always about the same results.
