I was at rollover this weekend(10 may 2008) and there at the baitshop there was a clipping from the newspaper saying that the state is talking about shuting down rollover, The Gilcrest VFW was collecting donations to help keep it, the need is for the trash pick up and port-a-johns they said they have enough money til about the first week in June. So if you are in that area stop by the bait shop there and help donate. That would suck if they close it down

Well the people that use it seem to leave all their trash on the ground . I am sure not everone does this but man the grounds looked like a garbage dump site when I was there last summer . Said I swore I would never go back and haven't .
Gawd I hope I catch a fish so big I will not have to lie again >>>> My phone # 713 517 9096

That sounds real ugly! Granted though it is all up to the people. I remember that is the first place my kid fished saltwater. That place has been around since long before my time and probably a lot of others. It is very true though last time I was out there there was a lot of garbage. People don't seem to care they leave there trash where ever they feel like it.

They just need to keep the trash dumped. Put up some new rails. Fill in the southeast side so people can fish from there too. Alot of people dont go because all they catch is hardheads. You have to spend alitle time there to know how to fish it. It might olny be good fishing for about 4hrs of the day.
