I have this problem right now. I have to much tackle that I really dont know when to use. I know how to use all of them, but I know I dont tie them on in the correct situations. So I am going to back off and start taking less and using them the right way at the right time. If you only had one lure to use, what would you take? When would you use it?

You were too fast for me on the edit Mark grin that would be a very large weight.

Jig-N-Trailer - go anywhere, do it all.

Chartruese spinnerbait. Anywhere, anytime, any water color. I used only one spinnerbait in 2004 to win AOY. That is all I threw that year. I didnt have much confidence in them at the time. After 2004, I can do pretty much anything with one. Laydowns, docks, grass, and not just the edges, rip rap, lily pads. I can toss, pitch, flip, cast, but cant skip it. Overhead, sidearm, and even backhand cast. Fish of all sizes love them too.

I agree with Mark on that one... the blue fleck experience. That worm has caught more fish than Mexican gill nets.

1/8 tungsten peg weight with a 8" Black/Blue worm

Like Mark said, you can catch fish any where any time with this set up.

Rattlesnake or shallow crankbait such as a Lucky Craft RC 1.5. I know the crank doesn't cover many depth ranges, but the RC works year round..it's been proven.

Only one bait, I hope it never comes to that but I would have to go with the blue fleck worm also.

It would be awsome if someone would make a baby brush hog in blue fleck. You have a fantastic fish catcher in the baby brush hog and one of the best worm colors I have ever used in blue fleck, someone just needs to put them together.

Strike King bleeding shad 3/8oz spinnerbait with 50# braid, any depth, any cover, year round. I always keep one on the deck anytime I am on the water.

I was telling Chad that Sunday while we were on Lewisville fishing Media. I told him its amazing that companies like Zoom do not have blue fleck. It should be a law. Every soft plastic company should offer every one of their baits in blue fleck. That and bama bug... grin

Watermelon Senko. Weightless, Texas rigged, or Carolina rigged, this bait gets it done.
