2009 PINS Big Shell Clean-Up Date, March 14, 2009

I got this e-mail from Billy today with the date for 2009's Big Shell Clean-Up. Mark your calendars so you'll remember to be there. The more the merrier, and the more we get done! I'll see you there!

I now have the federally approved date for next year's cleanup. 2nd Saturday in March, the 14th of March, 2009. Lots of folks have to plan activites far in advance and being able to get the word out asap helps folks make plans.

Would webmasters please post this info as I am already getting e-mail inquiries. Getting the word out effectively and timely is a big part of what makes this event work. Rain or shine. High tides or miserable conditions. This event will take place on this date.

Last weekend Texas Country Reporter T.V. show covered the Big Shell Beach Cleanup. For any that would like to see it, it is going to be available on line shortly if not already. My web master will soon have instructions for seeing it on my web site along with news of other Texas beach cleanups. Seems we've started a statewide movement and y'all can be proud of that.
