Well so far we have gotta kittys and my friend fell in the lake lmao no carps or buffs

Lake Tawakoni has LOADS of cats, prepare to keep catching them!

Only advice I can offer is catch and deep fry :-) Maybe I shouldn't say this in this forum, but catching kitties for the frier is one of my favorite types of fishing.

No problem with that, it's killing fish just to kill it that we don't like.

LOL, I wasn't referring to the catch and deep fry concept, I meant catching catfish on purpose. With the exception of Justin's signature line, most everything I read about cats in this forum is along the lines of them being a nuisance. That's understandable, a 3# cat probably isn't a lot of fun on those big carp rods ya'll have. Since I usually use a 6.5' medium action spinning rod with 6# test, a 3# kitty is a blast for me. I actually kinda fear catching my first carp on that rig. LOL

ok well i got there around 7 and i baited up a little heavy so i had maize on one line range cube/maize combo on another and pinapple boilie/csl pellets on the last rod and nothen but kittys all were 3 to 5 pounds...

around midnight or so my other friend show up and he found a grill and cooked up some fijatas with onions and some salsa yummmmy

so after stuffing ourselves we noticed these two guys across from us on the point that i wanted so i went and asked if we could move since the fish wasent biting to well bad mistake

this guy was toasted, when he heard me say that he got mad he said, i paid enough money to fish here too and im like so did i so anyways i went back to my spot

heres where the fun begins.

i was sitting in the truck curseing that dude across from me where out of nowhere a huge ball of flames came up from under the picknic area this dude threw a jug of lighter fluid in the little camp fire which was now a rageing fire and i thought of starless lmao. then i got a little concerned that it might set the grass on fire or maybe damage my truck cause i could feel the heat sitting in my truck so i moved my truck down a little ways and i felt better cause i was now up wind from him...

after that it got quiet and i noticed my friend trying to get his line out of the weeds in the shallows cause a kitty had swimmed into them so my other friend got his canoe out and told him to get in and go out and get the fish lol well its pitch black so he gets in and he gets a push off and soon as it cleared the bank he fell over in the water lmao i was laughing so hard i almost fell on the ground well he did get the fish after all and after that nothen else happend except for the cold front that moved in at 3am and brought 35mph winds making my alarms go crazy beep beep beep beep i finally got tired of hearing then and reel my lines in (with no bait weird) and went to sleep so total count....carp 0 buffs 0 cats 7
