FISHED 4/30 FROM 8A-6P. WIND OK TILL ABOUT NOON, THEN THE GALE FORCE WINDS HIT FOR ABOUT 2HRS, THEN CALMED TO 5-10MPH. DIDN'T GET A FISH TILL ABOUT 1300. ENDED UP WITH 15 FISH BETWEEN THE TWO OF US. C-RIG PLASTICS OFF POINTS AND ONE ON A SPINNERBAIT. ALL ABOUT 1-2LBS. TOUGH DAY, BUT STILL BETTER THAN WORK. NEXT FISHING TRIP, WILL HAVE TO CONSIDER THE COST, MONEY AND TIME, TO DRIVE FROM SAN ANTONIO. CHOKE IS REALLY UP AND DOWN FOR US. MY BUDDY PREFERS MEDINA LAKE WITH MORE NUMBERS AND CLOSER TO HOME, BUT HIS 2 LARGEST FISH ( 9& 8 LBS) HAVE COME ON THE TWO PREVIOUS TRIPS. HOPE THIS HELPS

THIS LAST TRIP, MOST OF THE FISH WERE ON TOP OF THE MAIN LAKE POINT 5-12 FT. WHEN WE CAUGHT OUR BIGGER FISH THE LAST TWO TRIPS, THEY WERE 15-25 FT, OFF THE POINT. SMALLER WORMS 5IN. SENKOS WORKED ON C-RIG, BUT SMALLER FISH. THE 10.5 WORMS DIDN'T GET MUCH ACTION. HOPE THIS HELPS.

took the wife there for the weekend, that was her mother's day present! fished friday, caught 5 2-3lbers by slab island,we call it bird island cause all the birds nest there, it's across from greyhound point. used 1/4 weight with pumpkin lizrd/ chartouse tail, sat nothing and sunday the winds blew so we came home...at least we had fun!

Glad to hear you had fun bushie, but wish you had more luck with the green ones. My cousin and I fished Saturday for about 6 hours and had eight fish. I had a limit with a couple close to 4 lbs at 9:00...after that we left those and moved alot trying to find some deep fish. Only caught a couple deep, but had a pretty decent stringer in the end.
