This is my first post and the only post I'll make on this subject. I'm the tournament director of the LTBC Invitational this year. I've been a member of LTBC for 17 years and a Board of Director for 8 years. I'm very proud of our club and I don't appreciate being slammed. For those of you that are coming to fish, good luck fishing and I hope you have a great time and return to fish future tournaments. For those of you that honestly feel you were cheated last year and seem to enjoy slandering our club I hope you fish another tournament this year and future years. Now you guys can go ahead and have fun with this post.

I spoke with Joe McBeth (president LTBC) this evening. As to everyones concerns about last years tournament, he is unaware of many of the events that we have said happened at last years event.
At this point, with all the 'this is my last post about this" from the LTBC, Nuff said.

Bazzman just a little FYI for you as to why a team partner is called on to take the PT. Fishing the Tri-State two years ago my partner had big Fish for tourny and was mandated to take the PT but because of his breathing problem the test could not be completed or he would fail each time. I was asked as his partner to stand in and take the PT and without issue. Lot of times because of nerves and or medical issues partners are asked to step up. I was at the tournament last year and I Found no issue with the results. Maybe some here are just confrontational? JMHO is all.

Hey everyone I'm new to this forum and I'm sorry for bringing the subject back up but I can't hold my tongue any longer. I fished this tournament last year and as far as I'm concerned he did fail the polygraph. I don't understand how the LTBC can't get their facts straight. It shouldn't be that hard to find out the truth. The guy doesn't even bass fish. What the heck was he doing fishing the tournament anyway? Why was he the last to weigh in and had just enough weight to win? Anyway, the ankle bracelet should of been a red flag from the start. He will have a hard time winning it this year behind bars.

I used to fish this tournament every year.
I enjoyed the Friday stew and the Saturday fish fry.
I can't speak to what happened last year, but I do her fisherman that FEEL something was wrong last year and perception is is something that LTBC should care about.
But I just heard this years TD tell you guy's to take a hike.
Sounds like they don't care what the preception of their club is.
I had seriously thought about fishing it again but I think I will take the TD's suggestion and go elsewhere.
Thanks for making my mind up for me TD!

Well I cant hold mine any longer either.

My partner has already sent in our entry as he would never think about NOT fishing it. To me, him and many others its not just a tournament but a tradition. I was not at the weigh in so I dont know what happened but I trust the guys that run the LTBC.

I would say that I will see all of yall there but in this case I will see SOME of you there.

Then again if NOBODY shows up and I have already entered, Looks like I WIN!

Hey Ken go ahead and send me my money! gotta laugh

Thanks for the support guys and I wish there was someway to prove to you that there was no problems last year.As for the angry posts from some of our members we have had this tournament for 38 years and have never had this kind of problems. We as members take great pride in what we do and work our butts off during this tournament and it really irritates us to no end that peolpe get on here and slam us for this.1st of all I believe it was handled in the wrong way to begin with by starting to slam us without even tring to contact the Bass club after the event or during the event to ask us about this. But anyway it would be nice to see everyone show up like they normally do because like 1 post said its a tradition and a whole lot of fun.I hope I havent offended nobody,we as a club would like to stop all the nonsense being said, because right now all I can say is that 1 of our longtime members contacted the polygraph company and the man assuered him that NO ONE FAILED the test last year.I dont know what else to add to this so,hope to meet some of you here this weekend and good luck.
Thanx
Ken

Exactly. Apparently the TD doesn't see a problem with it. I don't either cause I won't be participating in a event as loosely ran as this one.

This event is not a losely ran event.I believe this is all about the man with the ankle bracelet on if it had been anybody else there would never have been a issue. The man was not convicted of any crimes at the time of the tournament.I', sorry you all feel this way and if you have ever fished this tournament you would know it is not a LOOSELY RAN tournament.
Thank you
Ken

Ken I talked to one of your club members today and I'm not mentioning any names but they didn't have to think about it when I asked if Jaime failed the polygraph last year. I understand why the club is denying it because you are trying to save your butt. I don't think you will win this battle. Of course it may not hurt anything because there will be a new group of fisherman this year now that everyone knows how easy it is to win this tournament. Have fun banking off of a one day tournament this year. Couldn't even lower the entry fee but lowered the payout. Nice!!! My last post on this!!

A typical two post response/\. I don't thin k the guys would intentionally slam you if there wasn't something to it.

An expected defensive response. The ankle bracelet does not mean that he has NOT been convicted. It might have been used for a parolee. Ankle bracelets are for several uses, sometimes they are also lying about why they have it.
