I'm always looking for an edge when it comes to catching more fish. I thought I would share one with everyone. You know what's missing from the old days of wooden fishing lures? Wood. It soaks up odors, which sometimes was a good thing. I started soaking toothpicks in different fish attractors and putting them in lures. It holds the scent longer that just spraying it on. I even inject some into hollow lures and seal it around the toothpick so it just seeps out through the wood.
