Hey guys, I will be going crazy after tomorrow due to the fact I wont be able to fish for probably two months or so.I am having surgery to repair a broken hand and also a carpal tunnel release surgery at the same time. What stinks is I just spent my birthday money on a sweet box of about 12 swimbaits from California.I was going to try to keep myself busy and occupied with some fishing related chores and was hoping that you guys might have some input on a question I posted in the Boat & Motor section.Below is a link to the post and any good suggestions are appreciated.Oh yea one more thing; Hey lookn4afishfight I guess you are going to have to go out and find your own fish for awhile and dont wear out my spots while I am laid up !!!!

Good luck on your hand surgery. I broke my right had new years day, and its never been the same since. Really bothers me after a hard day on the water, or when I have to shake hands with someone.

I had major knee surgery on 4/1/08 and haven't been working, only sitting at the house and doing rehab. I know your pain. Here's what I can tell you -

1. Wake up at 5am and check forum - post 34 replies
2. Watch TV until 10am - check forum and repost 14 replies
3. Watch TV while eating lunch
4. check forum and post replies until dinner
5. eat dinner and leave table for the computer
6. post replies until 2am
7. go to sleep
8. repeat step #1

Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT go and mess with your boat, rod, reals, lures, tackle boxes, etc. This will only strengthen your urge to fish. DO NOT listen to the people that are gonna say, "Well, looks like you'll have plenty of time to get your tackle and rods in order!" Do not attempt this - it makes the urge to fish stronger than Crack Cocaine!

You will notice your post count go WAAAAYYYYYYYY up! Mine went from 470 something to current of whatever it is, almost 800 I guess.
