motorguide trolling motor not working ????

ok guys , im new to the boat gig . i have a 46 pound mg trolling motor that came with the boatwhich is a 2007 lowe 175 stinger . i was on the lake today was using the trolling motor when it just goes dead . my first thought was battery .took the battery got it tested when i got back to town and it was charged to the max almost. i checked the connection at the front i dont have a clue guys . the boat and set up is less than two months old . is there a fuse that could have blown? help me out yall! thanks in advance!

Check the breaker at the battery. There is a small button that you push to reset it.

If the breaker is not tripped and it's 2 months old, take it back to the dealer.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

The circuit breakers on my system automatically rest when they cool off. Most of the time they will trip due to a poor connection between them and the trolling motor. I would physically check each connection to be sure thay are good and tight. Because they read with a meter doesn't mean they are good under load.

is there a run or charge toggle switch up front that could have gotten flipped

gambler and breaker , i couldnt find the breaker . where would it be exactly ? ron the only thing up front is a switch to raise or lower the mercury. could there possiblly be somethingon the dash . my mother in law was sitting there.thanks guys!

Nothing at the dash. There should be a fuse in an inline fuse holder within a foot of the battery. If the fuse is good then you would be better off taking it to a lowe dealer. Where did you buy the boat??

guys , it is working . maybe a connection problem where i plugg the trolling motor in? my cousin live sin mt.vernon sstroman. i love cypress springs for crappie and cats! thanks guys!
